Impartiality & Fair Practices
- Unbiased Decision-Making – Our System Integrity team and all bluesign employees operate independently from commercial interests to ensure fair and transparent certification.
- Non-Discriminatory Processes – All assessments are conducted based on objective criteria, ensuring fairness for all system partners.
Statement of Impartiality
An Impartiality Advisory Commitee IAC is established to ensures a balanced representation of significant internal and external stakeholders for safeguarding impartiality.
The IAC members provide expertise to advice bluesign Management Team on policies, principles, operations and risks on impartiality.
bluesign technologies ag, an SGS company, understands the importance of impartiality and potential conflicts of interest in carrying out its range of testing, inspection, and certification services. Impartiality is defined as ‘not having prejudice towards or against any particular side or party.’ bluesign/SGS undertakes to act impartially in relation to interactions with all of our clients/customers and other stakeholders.
Complaint & Appeals Process
- Trademark & Certification Oversight – We monitor the proper use of the bluesign logo and take action against misrepresentation or non-compliance.
